Chase was an extremely loving, happy, and valued member of our little family, consisting of myself, he, and his brother Chance, who’s still with me. He was a happy dog who spent hours observing the goings on of every squirrel and bunny! Every once in a while he actually would catch one and that led to its own confusion! The boys were born to a litter of 5 males, GSP x Australian Kelpie, of which I was only planning on keeping one (Chance – the runt), but at the last minute, I simply couldn’t separate them and I’m so happy that I didn’t. When my life took a turn for the worse/dramatic change, they literally saved me, and in turn then gave me many more years of unconditional love, silent nurturing, and funny stories to tell! It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do to let go of him, but his battle left him weary and weak, and in the last days, he gave me confirmation that we were doing the right thing by helping him cross the Rainbow Bridge. Peace be with you, my friend!
